I agree with Odd-One-Out.
Cosplaying has definitely become more popular as more and more people discover anime and become fans but overall not enough people do it for me to think it as a fashion statement.

It's definetly becoming more popular, but more towards randomly-wearing-bits-of-cosplay.

Cosplay is a fashion, just like Meg said. it might not be common in the UK yet, like Phoebe said, but it still counts

i know its a fashion, but i dont really see it being an overly popular thing. but thats just my view. it doesnt count.

I don't think it's a fashion statement, it might be a fashion but yeah I just don't think it fits in that sorta category. Plus it isn't that popular in the UK as other countries, but it's definately getting popular. Still I don't think it'll become some sort of trend for people, cosplaying is more of a hobby to me. After all I don't see a cosplay and go 'omg I wanna wear that!' (not to mention the fact I make my cosplay outfits XD
